Feng Shui Tip ~ A Mountain At Your Back Print E-mail

In the art of Feng Shui we look at our relationship to and with  nature and the natural elements of nature.

Mt

Properly arraigned our space can to provide the perfect energy as well as protection.

The most fundamental rule is a Mountain at your back for protection.

Having a solid large figure such as a mountain at your back represents that nothing can sneak up on you from behind.

Not everyone lives in the mountains however, so here are some ways to get the protection of the mountain without moving:

  • Build a solid wall at the back of your yard
  • If you have a fence or some structure already there cover it with earth based elements such as granite or stone or brick and clay.
  • Build a rock or brick wall
  • Build an earth mound and highlight it with lights.
  • The turtle represents the mountain as well due to its shell so a turtle sanctuary or a large earth based material of a turtle statue.
  • Plant large trees that will grow higher than your roof top
  • Put outdoor lights in the back shining upward to create a vessel of energy behind the home.
